Consumer Review Video - 1997 Renault Twingo Air 1.1L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 1997 Twingo

The 1997 Renault Twingo Air is relatively easy to maintain. Changing the headlight with reliability is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the assembly. Reaching the tail light is simple, as you only have to pry off a cover to gain access to it. The components of the spare tire are accessible in the rear, keeping them ready to go in case of emergency.

Some things are problematic on the 1997 Renault Twingo Air. You must remove torx bolts to gain access to the center brake light, and the tools necessary may not be readily available. The air filter is located in a cramped space in the rear of the engine bay, and you will have to make a tough reach for it. The brake fluid reservoir is not overly visible on this vehicle, making it hard to check the fluid level.
