The 1999 Mercedes-Benz A160 Classic is easy to maintain. All of the tail lights are located in a single bulb assembly behind two covers that remove without the use of tools, allowing for reliable bulb changes. Monitoring the brake fluid won’t be a problem on account of the open access to the reservoir. The front and rear wiper blades can be removed with just the push of a tab, making for easy blade replacements.
However, the 1999 Mercedes-Benz A160 Classic has its downsides. A large reservoir in the driver side of the engine bay will need to be removed to access the headlights, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Checking the transmission fluid will be a problem, as there is no dipstick and the cap is positioned deep in the engine bay. A torx wrench will be necessary to disengage a large cover to access the engine air filter.
