Common problems and easy repairs on a 2001 Ignis
The 2001 Suzuki Ignis GL is easy to maintain. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle, keeping them ready to go in case of emergency. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to change, as you only need to push a tab to disengage either blade. Changing the engine air filter with reliability is no problem, as you only need to disengage a few fasteners for access.
Some things are problematic on the 2001 Suzuki Ignis GL. The engine coolant reservoir is obstructed on this vehicle, making it hard to monitor the fluid level. You will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access to the fog light on this vehicle, which can be difficult to pry back.
