Common problems and easy repairs on a 2002 Avensis

The 2002 Toyota Avensis LS is moderately easy to maintain. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle, keeping them ready to go in case of emergency. The brake fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay, making it easy to check and replenish the fluid level. Changing the headlight bulb is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to it.

Some things are problematic on the 2002 Toyota Avensis LS. You must use a panel puller to pry out the front turn signal housing for access to the bulb. You will have to make a tough reach in the engine bay to get to the lower radiator hose for a coolant drain.
