The 2003 Fiat Punto EX is a moderately easy car to maintain given its open access and simple set-ups. The cabin air filter can be found in the footwell of the vehicle, and it slides out easily once its cover is removed. The battery can be found quickly with its bracket right on top, making it easy to remove. Also, the headlights can be accessed by simply reaching behind the bulb housing and front bumper.
However, the 2003 Fiat Punto EX does have its downsides. The tail lights are tedious to access, requiring a special Phillips-like tool to remove its fasteners and in general is a hassle to remove. The oil filter is located underneath a hose and a cover that is held on by multiple bolts. The interior fuse box is behind a panel that’s held on by multiple fasteners, which is an added step compared to similar models.
