The 2004 Honda Accord EX is a moderately easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the average car owner. The transmission fluid dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay, allowing you to check the transmission fluid level with reliability. Changing the front wiper blade is no problem to do on this car. Many other models will require the use of tools in order to change the blade. Both of the fuse boxes are easy to access on this vehicle. You only need to remove one cover to access either set of fuses, allowing you to easily troubleshoot electrical problems.
Some things are difficult on the 2004 Honda Accord EX. You will have to take the battery out in order to access one of the headlights. This is a complicated procedure, making a quick headlight change impossible. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the spare tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Setting the clock is difficult, as finding the time adjustment section in the control panel is very difficult.
