The 2005 Mitsubishi Galant ES is a relatively easy car to maintain. The main headlights are accessible by simply reaching behind the bulb housing, allowing for reliable changes whenever necessary. Checking the fuses won’t be a problem thanks to the unobstructed access to the fuse boxes and the inclusion of a fuse puller. The battery also has easy access that will allow for hassle-free jumpstarts and battery replacements.
However, the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant ES does have some complications. The wheel well lining must be pried back in order to access the fog light, which won’t make for reliable access. Changing the tail lights will also prove problematic, as the rear bulb housing will need to be pried out of the vehicle first. The entire glove box housing must be removed for access to the cabin air filter, which is bulky and cumbersome to remove.
