The 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LT is somewhat difficult to maintain. Many tools will be needed to remove both a large panel and the bulb housing itself for access to the headlights, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Accessing the spark plugs may be a problem as you’ll need to first disengage multiple panels and covers in the engine bay. Those same covers must be removed for access to the air conditioning port as well, which will make for difficult refills.
However, the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt LT does have its upsides. The tail lights are easy to access behind portions of trunk lining that remove without the use of tools, allowing for reliable bulb changes. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together, which will allow for easy removal and set-up. Changing the engine air filter won’t be a problem as the housing disengages without the use of tools.
