Common problems and easy repairs on a 2007 147

The 2007 Alfa Romeo 147 T.Spark is relatively easy to maintain. Many of the headlights are accessible by simply reaching behind their housings, allowing for reliable bulb changes. Monitoring the engine coolant won’t be a problem given the unobstructed access to the reservoir cap and level markers. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together and are easy to reach in the event you’ll need to service a flat.

However, the 2007 Alfa Romeo 147 T.Spark has a handful of more complicated procedures. Most of the headlights will require their entire bulb housings to be removed for access to them, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Replacing the engine air filter may also be a problem on account of the cramped placement of the housing deep in the engine bay. The cabin air filter is also troublesome to reach behind many panels in the footwell of the vehicle.
