The 2007 Ford Ranger FX4 is an extremely easy vehicle to maintain, but does have some difficult to access lights. To access the tail lights, you will have to remove the entire housing first. While this isn’t too difficult, you will have to remove more bolts than usual for access to the assembly. The center brake light is not an LED Bulb. This will require more maintenance over time. Access for the front parking light will be tough, as you will have to remove the headlight housing first, then remove the parking light housing.
As previously stated, the 2007 Ford Ranger FX4 has many easy repairs. Changing the front fog light with reliability is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the assembly. Checking the transmission fluid level is easy to do, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Changing the engine air filter is easy to do, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage.
