Consumer Review Video - 2007 Mitsubishi Raider LS 3.7L V6 Extended Cab Pickup

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2007 Raider

The 2007 Mitsubishi Raider LS is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, but is recommended to those more experienced in vehicle maintenance. Checking the transmission fluid level with reliability is no problem, as the fluid dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every model includes this dipstick. The front wipe blade is easy to change on this vehicle. Other models will require you to use tools to complete. The engine air filter is easy to change on this vehicle, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter.

Some things are more problematic on the 2007 Mitsubishi Raider LS. You will have to lower the tire from under the vehicle for access to it. The lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle and be difficult to turn. Changing the headlight will require you to take the housing out first. This will require many tools in order to complete. You will have to remove torx bolts for access to the tail light bulbs. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair.
