Consumer Review Video - 2008 Acura TSX 2.4L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2008 TSX

The 2008 Acura TSX is a moderately difficult vehicle to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for those experienced in vehicle maintenance. Changing the cabin air filter with reliability can be a problem, as you will have to lower the glove box for access. This would have been easier if there were an access panel instead. You will have to remove a panel from under the vehicle for access to the oil drain plug. The engine coolant reservoir is not overly visible on this vehicle.

Some things are easier on the 2008 Acura TSX. Checking the transmission fluid level is easy to do, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every model includes this dipstick. Changing the front wiper blade is easy to do. Other models will require the use of tools. The center brake light is easy to access and change, as you only have to reach through the trunk for access to the bulb.
