Common problems and easy repairs on a 2011 Compass

The 2011 Jeep Compass is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain when compared to other similar models. Changing the headlight is easy, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to change on this vehicle. Other models will require the use of tools when changing your blades.

Some things are more problematic on the 2011 Jeep Compass. You will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access to the fog light. This lining can grow tight to the vehicle and be difficult to peel back. This vehicle does not come equipped with a transmission fluid dipstick. Changing the battery is more difficult than usual, as the bracket that secures the battery is itself difficult to access.
