Common problems and easy repairs on a 2011 Sprinter 2500

The 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 is a moderately easy vehicle to maintain, but is recommended to those more experienced in vehicle maintenance. You only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. Other models make this harder. The cabin air filter is easy to replace in the engine bay. Other models will make this repair more problematic. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level with reliability.

Some things are more problematic on the 2011 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500. You will have to remove torx bolts in order to access the engine air filter. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair. The tail light bulbs can be difficult to remove, as you will have to remove torx bolts from a tight spot in the vehicle in order to remove the housing. The center brake light can be difficult to change, as you will have to remove the housing from the vehicle first. This will require a tough reach to the top of the vehicle for access.
