The 2012 Chrysler 200 LX is a somewhat difficult car to maintain. The air filter housing or a reservoir will need to be removed to access the headlights on either side of the vehicle, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Accessing the tail lights will also be a problem, as you’ll need to disengage both the trunk lining and the rear bulb housing to do so. The cabin air filter will prove challenging to reach as you must take out the glove box first.
However, the 2012 Chrysler 200 LX has its upsides. The engine coolant reservoir has open access, so monitoring the fluid level shouldn’t be a problem. The same goes for the brake fluid reservoir, whose unobstructed position will allow to you reliably add fluid. The engine air filter is also easy to change as the cover disengages without the use of tools.
