Consumer Review Video - 2012 Kia Rio5 LX 1.6L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2012 Rio5

The 2012 Kia Rio5 LX is a moderately difficult car to maintain on account of its complicated procedures. The entire bulb housing will need to be removed to access the headlights, which will require the removal of the grille and a few other panels. The petcock is located behind a large panel underneath the vehicle, which may prove cumbersome to navigate around. Only a compressor kit was provided in the event of a flat, which may prove more inconvenient than helpful.

However, the 2012 Kia Rio5 LX does have its upsides. Its cabin air filter can be found behind a single panel and does not require the removal of the glove box for reliable access. Both fuse boxes are no problem to access and the engine fuse box comes with a fuse puller for your convenience. The engine air filter’s housing can be disconnected without the use of any tools and lifts up easily.
