Consumer Review Video - 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT 1.8L 4 Cyl. Hatchback (4 Door)

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2013 Elantra GT

The 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT is a relatively easy car to repair but it does have its share of intricate maintenance procedures. The headlights are easily accessible by simply reaching behind the bulb housing. The spare tire and jack kit can be quickly found in the trunk, and the jack itself is easy to set up and operate. Both the front and rear wiper blades can be removed with the use of any tools.

However, the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT does have its setbacks. Accessing the battery bracket proves to be rather tight, and the air filter housing needs to be disconnected before the bracket can be removed. The fog lights are located behind a large panel in the wheel well, and removing all of its parts can be tedious. The petcock must be reached deep down through the engine bay, and the air filter intake vent needs to be removed first.
