Common problems and easy repairs on a 2013 RAV4

The 2013 Toyota RAV4 Limited is a relatively easy SUV to maintain, and a good choice for the average SUV owner. Changing the engine air filter is easy to do, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners in order to access the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The reverse light is easy to access on this vehicle, as you only have to remove one cover in the rear of the vehicle for access to the bulb. This cover is easy to remove. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency.

Some things are more problematic on the 2013 Toyota RAV4 Limited. Changing the front wiper blade can be a problem, as you will have to use a tool in order to pry up a tab to remove the wiper blade. Other models do not require the use of tools to complete this. You will have to remove the glove box in order to access the cabin air filter. This would have been easier if there were a designated panel in the rear of the glove box for reliable access. To change the headlight on one side, you will have to move a reservoir out of the way first. This is an extra step that can cause problems.
