The 2014 BMW 650i xDrive Gran Coupe is a relatively difficult vehicle to maintain. Multiple panels will need to be removed from underneath the glove box in order to access the cabin air filter, which won’t allow for reliable filter changes. Accessing the lower radiator hose may be a problem, as you’ll need to work in an awkward position underneath the vehicle and remove a large panel to reach it. Checking the oil level must be done electronically, which will make for a lengthy procedure.
However, the 2014 BMW 650i xDrive Gran Coupe has its upsides. Checking the fluid levels on the power steering reservoir won’t be a problem given the open access to the cap and dipstick. The interior and engine fuse boxes are easily accessible without the use of tools, allowing you to complete your electrical troubleshooting with reliability. The rear fog light and the reverse light are accessible behind a single portion of trunk lining.
