Consumer Review Video - 2014 Ford Fusion SE 2.5L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2014 Fusion

The 2014 Ford Fusion SE is a relatively difficult car to maintain, when compared to other models of a similar make and type. To access the engine air filter, you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. Checking the oil level is no problem, as the oil dipstick is reliably accessible in the engine bay. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency.

Some things are tougher to maintain on the 2014 Ford Fusion SE. In order to access the lower radiator hose, you will have to remove a large panel from underneath the vehicle for access. This is tough, as you will have to crawl beneath the vehicle, and use a few tools, for access. To replace the headlight, you will have to completely remove the housing first. This involves many steps, and the use of many tools you may not have readily available for a repair. The cabin air filter is difficult to access. You will have to remove the glove box in order to access the filter. This would have been much easier if there was a panel in the back of the glove box for access.
