The 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD is a difficult truck to maintain. The engine air filter housing will need to be removed to access the headlights, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Changing the air filter itself may be a problem, as its housing is secured by multiple torx bolts and is cramped into the engine bay’s corner. The battery will also prove difficult to access, as its bracket is located deep in the engine bay and its sway bar may prove cumbersome to remove.
However, the 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 HD has its upsides. The fog lights are accessible by simply reaching behind the front bumper, allowing for reliable changes when necessary. The transmission fluid dipstick is quick to find, easy to remove, and simple to read. Replenishing the brake fluid reservoir won’t be a problem, either, as it has very open access to both its cap and level markers.
