Common problems and easy repairs on a 2015 Soul

Despite a few difficult repairs, the 2015 Kia Soul is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, and a good choice for the average SUV owner. Changing the headlight is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb’s cover. This cover is easy to remove. The cabin air filter is easy to access on this vehicle. There are designated panels in the rear of the glove box for reliable access, making a filter change much simpler. Connecting your phone via Bluetooth is extremely easy to do. There are easy to follow steps in the electronic menu.

As stated previously, there are more problematic repairs on the 2015 Kia Soul. Changing the center brake light can be very difficult to do. You will need a few tools you may not have readily available, and have to work with a bulb housing that can grow tight to the vehicle over time. You will have to remove a large panel from under the vehicle in order to reliably complete a coolant drain. This can be a problem, as you will have to contend with gravity as you complete this. This vehicle does not come equipped with a traditional spare tire. Instead manufacturers included a compressor kit, which can be a problem if your flat tire cannot hold air.
