Consumer Review Video - 2016 Chevrolet Equinox LT 2.4L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 Equinox

The 2016 Chevrolet Equinox LT is difficult to maintain. The wheel well lining must be removed to access the headlights, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The battery bracket is large and bulky to maneuver, and you will have to remove secondary panels before said bracket can be removed. Monitoring the transmission fluid levels will be a problem, as the reservoir lacks a dipstick and its cap is located deep within the engine bay.

However, the 2016 Chevrolet Equinox LT has its upsides. Monitoring the brake fluid levels won’t be a problem on account of the very open access to the reservoir. The fuses boxes are easy to access and the one in the engine bay comes provided with a fuse puller, allowing you to troubleshoot electrical issues with reliability. The spare tire and jack kit are simple to access, making it more convenient when servicing a flat.
