Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 Explorer

Changing the engine air filter is easy to do, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for reliable access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. Connecting your phone to the car via Bluetooth is easy to do, as there are clear steps in the electronic menu for connecting your phone. The brake fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level reliably on a regular basis.

Some things are harder to repair on the 2016 Ford Explorer Limited. You will have to remove a panel from under the vehicle for reliable access to the petcock for a coolant drain. You will have to contend with gravity as you complete this. To change either wiper blade, you will need to use a tool for assistance. Other models do not require the use of tools for changing your wiper blades. This vehicle does not come equipped with a traditional transmission fluid dipstick. This can be a problem, as you will have to take the vehicle in to check the fluid level.
