Consumer Review Video - 2016 Kia Optima EX 2.4L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 Optima

The 2016 Kia Optima EX is difficult to maintain. You will have to remove an air filter intake vent before you can remove the battery, which will require the use of tools to complete. To change the headlight bulb, you will have to move a reservoir out of the way first. A large panel underneath the vehicle will need to be removed for access to the oil drain plug, and the panel can prove difficult to remove.

Some things are easier on the 2016 Kia Optima EX. The brake fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay, making it easy to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. You will be able to reliably change the time as the steps you need to complete are easy to follow. Checking the oil level is easy to do, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay.
