The 2016 Scion iA is a very easy car to maintain. All of the headlights are accessible by reaching behind the housing, allowing for reliable bulb changes. Checking the fuses won’t be a problem as their covers remove easily, and the engine fuse box comes provided with a fuse puller for convenience. The engine air filter housing disengages without the use of tools, allowing for hassle-free filter replacements.
Unfortunately, the 2016 Scion iA does have a couple of downsides. You’ll need to disconnect part of the trunk lining for access to the reverse light, which won’t make for a reliable bulb change. Performing a coolant change might be a problem as you’ll need tools to remove a panel from underneath the vehicle for access to the petcock. The control panel is separate from the menu screen, which makes for a convoluted set-up when adjusting the time or connecting your phone.
