Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 GTI
The 2016 Volkswagen GTI S is a moderately difficult SUV to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for someone experienced in vehicle maintenance. To access the lower radiator hose for a coolant drain, you will have to remove a large panel from under the vehicle first. This will force you to contend with gravity as you complete. Changing the wiper blades can be difficult, as you will need to follow additional steps to raise the front wiper blade, and use tools to remove either blade. You will have to loosen torx bolts in order to access the engine air filter. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair.
Some things are easier on the 2016 Volkswagen GTI S. Connecting the Bluetooth is easy to do, as there are easy to follow steps in the electronic menu for reliably connecting your phone. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. The engine coolant reservoir is no problem to see in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level with reliability.
