Consumer Review Video - 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited 2.0L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2017 Elantra

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited is a moderately easy vehicle to maintain and a good choice for any vehicle owner. Changing the engine air filter with reliability is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The brake fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will make it easy to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. The center brake light is easy to change, as you only have to reach through the trunk for access to the bulb.

Some things are problematic on the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Limited. You will have to remove a large panel from under the vehicle for access to the petcock. You will have to use tools as you contend with gravity. To change the cabin air filter, you will have to lower the glove box first. Other models will include an access panel in the rear of the glove box instead. The level markers for the engine coolant reservoir are located deep in the engine bay, and can be hard to read.
