Common problems and easy repairs on a 2018 Eclipse Cross
The 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross LE is somewhat easy to maintain. The headlight is accessible by reaching behind the housing and removing a cover, which won’t require tools and will make for reliable changes. Checking the transmission fluid won’t be a problem as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. The reverse light is also accessible without using any tools, as you only have to reach behind the rear bumper when changing it.
However, the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross LE has quite a few complicated repairs. The entire bulb housing must be removed when accessing the remaining tail lights, which won’t make for reliable changes. Similarly, the fog light and front turn signal have problematic access as the wheel well lining must be pried back first.
