The 2020 Kia Soul LX is relatively easy to maintain. Many of the headlights are accessible by simply reaching behind the housing, allowing for reliable bulb changes. The brake fluid reservoir has unobstructed access, so monitoring the fluid levels shouldn’t be a problem. The engine air filter is also quick to find and can be removed without the use of tools.
However, the 2020 Kia Soul LX has its downsides, particularly with its challenging lights procedures. The headlight/highbeam and fog lights will require the wheel well lining and a large lower panel pried away for access, respectively, which won’t make for reliable bulb replacements. The tail lights are also a problem to change, as their housing is bulky and cumbersome to remove. The air conditioning fill cap is positioned low in the engine bay, so you’ll have to reach past potentially hot engine components to connect a hose to it.
